Alex grew up in Hawthorn Woods, IL, and attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor for her undergraduate studies, earning a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. Throughout her time in college, Alex enjoyed her many clinical rotations as an athletic training student working with the U of M athletic department. After graduation, she worked for 2 years as a medical assistant before attending PA school at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL. During PA school, she completed two emergency medicine rotations at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. It was during these rotations that she developed a passion to work in emergency medicine. Alex is excited to continue developing her clinical skills and to provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients throughout the fellowship.
