Jack Goods, Comm ’13, is a communication specialist in the Office of Marketing and Communication and vice chair of University Staff Senate.
In his role, Goods supports internal communication strategies aimed at informing and engaging faculty, staff, students and parents through various media. He serves as editor of the university’s primary and award-winning internal communication vehicle, ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Today, and has assisted in the development and rollout of numerous communication initiatives, including the inauguration of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s 25th president, annual award celebrations for faculty and staff and Homecoming Week. Goods is also part of the LEAD (Leadership Engagement and Dialogue) Team and is a contributing writer to several university publications, including ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Magazine. He is currently serving as chair of the communications subcommittee of the Campus Climate Study implementation team.
Prior to joining ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, Goods worked as a sports journalist, with stops as a reporter for The Buffalo News and sports editor of the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram.
Goods earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism from ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, graduating magna cum laude. He is currently pursuing his MBA from ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s Graduate School of Management.
