Troy Dennhof

Troy Dennhof serves as Vice President for Human Resources at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, where he provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the university’s human resources function. He leads a dynamic team across key areas including business partners, talent acquisition, employee relations, total rewards, workforce planning, HR systems and ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s on-campus childcare center.

Dennhof is dedicated to fostering an inclusive, mission-driven workplace culture grounded in transparency, accountability and employee engagement. Under his leadership, HR plays a vital role in advancing ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s strategic goals by promoting belonging and professional growth, improving retention, enhancing organizational agility and strengthening the university’s ability to attract and retain top talent.

Prior to joining ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, Dennhof was Senior Vice President of People and Business Partnerships at Advocate Health, one of the nation’s largest integrated healthcare systems. There, he led complex, enterprise-wide HR initiatives across labor relations, employee safety, total rewards and systems strategy. His earlier leadership roles at Johnson Controls and MillerCoors focused on large-scale transformation and organizational development, earning him recognition for driving innovation and business impact.

Dennhof holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. A strong advocate for community involvement, he serves on multiple Milwaukee-area nonprofit and educational boards.

He and his wife, Shannon, live in Waterford, Wisconsin, and enjoy time with their three children.
