ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Students Taking Courses at Partner Institutions

Qualification Requirements

  • You must be a ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ graduate degree-seeking student in good standing.
  • The course that you propose to take at the partner institution must be one not offered at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ. Exceptions include:
    • The course is required for your degree.
    • The course is not being offered during the term in question.
    • If both of those conditions are met, you may take the course at the partner institution even if ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ does occasionally offer the same course.
  • There is a limit of six (6) credits that may be taken through the inter-university exchange program.
  • Students participating in the CSC exchange must have completed at least one full-time semester at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ.
  • Because of differences in timing of the terms between ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ and our partner institutions, the grade for your exchange course will likely not be reflected on your ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ end-of-term grade report. You will initially be given a grade of Course Incomplete ("IC"), which will be changed to the appropriate grade once all of the administrative steps are completed. Because of this lag, you should be aware that if you take a course at a partner institution during your final term, your graduation may need to be delayed.
  • At the end of the term, the partner institution will send a copy of your transcript to the Registrar's Office or Graduate School at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ for posting the grade on your record.
  • Tuition is paid at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ at the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ per credit rate.
