School Counseling

ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s Department of Counselor Education and Counseling Psychology was awarded a U.S. Department of Education Mental Health Service Professional (MHSP) Demonstration Grant to provide a limited number of scholarships to Master’s in School Counseling program students who are committed to working with students in high-need schools. The grant was designed to develop a school counselor workforce that can help address the mental health needs of students in underserved districts or schools. ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s mission to ask our graduates to give of themselves in service to those in need aligns well with the intent of this funding source.
