Lora Reinholz joined ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ as a part-time adjunct instructor in 2002 and has taught at both the undergraduate and graduate levels teaching primarily
Accounting and Finance Fundamentals for Non-Business Majors (BUAD2100), Foundations of Personal Finance (BUAD2160), and Introduction to Financial Management (FINA3001). Prior to ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, she worked with 401(k) plans at Hewitt Associates and Harley-Davidson, has served as a member of the Common Council for the City of Mequon, Wisconsin, and taught for 18 years at the late Cardinal Stritch University (Adjunct Associate Processor).
Lora started working in the financial services industry in 2009 and was a
Financial Advisor for six years before shifting to a part-time Associate Wealth Management Advisor with the Spaeth Barrett Group (an office of Northwestern Mutual) for seven years.
In 2023, Lora became a full-time Instructor of Practice in the Finance Department and expanded her courseload to include Introduction to Financial Management (FINA3001), Financial Modeling (FINA4050), Principles of Risk and Insurance (FINA4931), and Business Essentials – Finance (MBA6060). In 2025, the CFP Board approved the registration of the new Financial Planning Program in the College of Business. With this approval, Lora now teaches Financial Planning (FINA4020) and expects to teach Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits (FINA4121) beginning the spring 2026 semester.
As a student in the honors program, Lora earned her undergraduate degree from ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ. She completed her M.B.A. from Webster University and holds the designations of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL®), and Wealth Management Certified Professional (WMCP ®). She has passed the General Securities Representative Exam (Series 7) and Uniform Combined State Law Exam (Series 66) and holds various insurance licenses in the state of Wisconsin.
In addition to her career, Lora is blessed with four children and five grandchildren. She plays her flute with the Lumen Christi Church choir (Mequon, WI) and enjoys walking, biking, exercise classes, live music and theater, ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ basketball, and spending time with her family.
