Dr. Lanqing (Lan) Du is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Analytics in the College of Business Administration at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ. Committed to both research and teaching, Dr. Du is passionate about promoting the responsible use of technology to advance business education and practice.

Research Interests

Dr. Du’s research lies at the intersection of technological advancement, business–digital integration, and human–computer interaction. This work combines methodological rigor with applied relevance to address strategic and operational challenges in contemporary business contexts. Dr'Du's current projects leverage explainable AI (XAI) and stochastic programming to investigate emerging topics such as AI trustworthiness, blockchain and NFT dynamics, and phygital convergence. The overarching goal is to develop both model-based and data-driven solutions that promote responsible innovation and support informed managerial decision-making.
