He began his career at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals (now Pfizer) as Head of Neurochemistry, contributing to the commercialization and lifecycle management of two blockbuster medications: Effexor庐 and Pristiq庐. Throughout his career, Dr. Beyer has held a variety of roles ranging from bench scientist to CEO of Promentis Pharmaceuticals and Kures, Inc., where he led multiple neuropsychology projects and both nonclinical and clinical programs targeting brain disorders. He has participated in the submission of 34 IND applications, operationalized over 10 clinical trials, authored more than 70 manuscripts, and co-edited two books. Dr. Beyer holds a B.S. in Psychology from Allegheny College, a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from LSU Medical Center, and an M.B.A. in Pharmaceutical Management from Rutgers Business School.
